How do I access my active reservations from ReserveAmerica.com?

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. Click the username drop-down list located at the upper right-hand corner of screen, and select Reservations.
  3. All active reservations from ReserveAmerica.com can be found on the Current & Upcoming Reservations tab.

    Users can click View Details to re-send confirmation emails, cancel, modify, or print the active reservation.

     

How do I access my previous reservations from ReserveAmerica.com in the reservations system?

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. Click the username drop-down list located at the upper right-hand corner of screen, and select Reservations.
  3. All reservations previously made on ReserveAmerica.com can be found on the Past Reservations tab.

     

How do I access reservations that were made in person at the park?

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. Click the username drop-down list located at the upper right-hand corner of screen, and select Reservations.
  3. All active reservations can be found on the Current & Upcoming Reservations tab.

 

How are reservation convenience fees calculated?

Credit and debit card payment options include a 2.2% (minimum $1) payment processing fee. Echeck payment option includes a $1 payment processing fee.

 

How are transaction fees calculated?

The transaction fee for a new reservation is $5.00. Subsequent reservation modifications incur a $2.50 transaction fee.

 

How are modification fees calculated?

The modification fees are equal to the park use fee for the first day of the reservation that is being modified. Modification fees does not apply to modifications made more than three days in advance of the arrival date.

 

What Payment Types are accepted?

Customers may pay online by Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express), Debit Card, or Echeck. Cash payments cannot be used for online reservations but are accepted onsite. To make a cash payment, the reservation must be made in-person at the park.

 

I cancelled my reservation. How will I receive my refund?

Users will be reimbursed using the same payment method used at time of booking. Cash refunds will be issued in-person, at the park. All transaction fees are non-refundable.

 

What is the reservation cancellation policy?

The park use fee portion of a reservation is refundable if received no later than three days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to the park use fee for the first day of the reservation. Transaction fees are non-refundable.

How do I modify an existing reservation online?

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. Click the username drop-down list located at the upper right-hand corner of screen, and select Reservations.
  3. All active reservations are listed on the Current & Upcoming Reservations tab.

  4. Navigate to the reservation you want to modify and click Modify.

 

How do I cancel or modify an existing reservation in person?

Reservations may be cancelled or modified on-site, at the park.

 

How do I cancel an existing reservation online?

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. Click the username drop-down list located at the upper right-hand corner of screen, and select Reservations.
  3. All active reservations are listed on the Current & Upcoming Reservations tab.

  4. Navigate to the reservation you want to modify and click Cancel.
  5. Click Proceed with Cancellation.
  6. A Reservation Cancellation Receipt displays and includes refund information, transaction information, and state park reservation information.

 

What are the reservation fees for park spots?

Park spot reservation fee information is located at  https://www2.illinois.gov/dnr/Parks/Camp/Documents/CampingFeeSchedule.pdf.

 

How do I access reservations that were made in-person at the park?

I have a Reserve America coupon. Can I use it for reservations?

No. The reservations system does not accept Reserve America coupons.

 

Am I eligible for a rate discount?

When creating an online reservation, eligible users may indicate a discount in the Occupancy Information section of the Create Reservation page. Special rates or discount eligibility may apply to pass holders, special groups, and membership holders. Proof of age/membership may be required at time of check-in.

  • Senior (62+) residents of Illinois are eligible for a rate discount. An Illinois State or Federal issued identification card is required at check-in to establish proof of age, date of birth and residency.

  • Disabled residents of Illinois with a current Illinois Disabled Persons ID Card with a 2 or 2A classification that is issued by the Secretary of State’s office are eligible for a rate discount.

  • Illinois Disabled Vet/POW/Armed Forces Special Pass Holders of a valid camping privileges ID from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs or Special Armed Forces Pass holders are eligible for a rate discount.

  • Youth (less than 18 years of age) are eligible for a rate discount
