Apply for a Rental Boat License as an Organizational Customer

Organization customers refer to customers who represent an organization and do not represent an individual. Examples of organization customers may include scouting troops or religious groups.

This license will give organizational customers the ability to operate a passenger boat.

Complete the following required steps and any optional steps, as necessary, to apply for a rental boat as an organizational customer:

  1. Log in to your customer homepage.
  2. On your customer homepage, select Manage Rental Boat Licenses.
  3. On the Rental Boat Licenses page, click Submit a Rental Boat License Application.
  4. On the Rental Boat License Application page, enter the following information in the Establishment Information section:
    • Name of Establishment - The name of the establishment that is requesting the rental boat license.
    • Physical Address - The physical address of the establishment that will use the rental boat.
    • Mailing Address - The mailing address of the establishment that will use the rental boat.
  5. In the For Operation On section, select one or more waterway on which the rental boat will be used from the Waterways drop-down list.
  6. In the Operators section, click Add Operator to add the people who will operate the rental boat.
  7. In the Add Manager dialog box, enter the First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Suffix, and Phone Number for the manager
  8. Click Save.
  9. In the Registrations section, click Add Registration.

  10. In the Add Registration dialog, select or enter the following information:

    • Vessel Power - The type of vessel power of the rental boat.
    • Vessel Type - The type of vessel of the rental boat.
    • Registration Number - The registration number of the rental boat.
    • Hull ID - The hull ID of the rental boat..
    • Internal Business Tracking Number - The internal tracking number used by the business to identify the boat which will be available for rental.
    • Length - The length of the rental boat, in feet.
    • Capacity (lbs.) - The weight capacity of the rental boat.
  11. Click Save.
  12. In the Digital Signature section, enter the following information:
    • Owner Name - The name of the owner.
    • Email Address - The owner's email address.
    • Date - The current date.
  13. Click Save.
